    For CV

Space Optimization Competition (SpOC 4) | Core Developer (Apr. 2026 - Jun. 2026)

  • Algorithm Design: Developed a Simulated Annealing algorithm and multi-step permutation encodings to optimize complex space logistics, advertising, and Keplerian traveling salesperson scenarios.
  • Performance Optimization: Benchmarked baseline metaheuristics and improved algorithmic efficiency, leading to multiple accepted papers at the prestigious GECCO 2026 conference.

International Timetabling Competition (ITC 2019) | Lead Researcher (Jul. 2025 - Mar. 2026)

  • Algorithm Design: Engineered an Integrative Hybrid Local Search with a Restart Strategy (HRSHCL) to simultaneously optimize university course timetabling and student sectioning under highly complex, real-world constraints.
  • Performance Assessment: Benchmarked the proposed algorithm against Random Search and standard Hill Climbing baselines, proving its capability to resolve complex penalty violations rather than just justifying extended runtimes. Research resulted in a first-author paper accepted at PATAT 2026 and a presentation at IEEE ICSPC 2025.
